After Later Audio ALAN (Turing Machine) plus Enigma and Morcom expansion Eurorack modules USED

$198.00

USED great condition, 3 modules total.

1 : ALAN

The randomness of the Music Thing Modular Turing Machine,  shrunk down to 6HP.  Alan retains all of the same functionality as the original including the connectors for the expanders.

While this module has little to do with the original Turing Machine (by Alan Turing), it is a shift register based sequencer.  You cannot program this sequencer, instead it builds random sequences that can be locked in.

Alan comes tested, calibrated and ready to bring random voltages.

Width: 6hp
12V: 45mA
-12V: 20mA
Module power connector can be connected either way

 2: Enigma Expander

An expander for our Alan (a smaller version of the Turing Machine) and our Benjolin V2 that enables you to manipulate the stepped CV sequence. This enables you to create a different, yet related sequence to the main Alan output.

CONNECTION

The module comes with the required cable to connect to Alan or Benjolin V2. On the back of Enigma you will see two headers with the word GATES written on the PCB (either will work), and on the back of Alan or Benjolin, there will be a corresponding header that also says GATES. This is how the expander is connected to the main module. There are 2 headers on the back of Enigma because it can be daisy chained. 1 Alan or Benjolin can support up to 5 Enigmas.

Width: 4hp
12V: 5mA
-12V: 0mA

3: Morcom Expander

An expander for our Alan module (a smaller version of the Turing Machine), and our Benjolin V2, that exposes the pulse outputs from the main modules. You get 7 seven random outputs and then 4 that are derived from other 7 outputs. As an example, when 1 and 2 are high then the 1+2 outputs is high. You can get some great rhythmic effects using these in conjunction with the main stepped CV output.

CONNECTION

The module comes with the required cable to connect to Alan or Benjolin. On the back of Morcom you will see a header with the word PULSES written on the PCB, and on the back of Alan or Benjolin, there will be a corresponding header that also says PULSES.
