The Doepfer A-182 Switched Multiple is a routing module based on a simple combination of a passive multiple and three-way switches. In practice, each jack can have one of three behaviors, defined by the corresponding switch: it may be connected to "bus 1," "bus 2," or may be turned off entirely. All jacks with 1 or 2 selected are connected to one another, respectively, making it possible to use this module as a mult with reconfigurable number of channels; or it could be used as a means of selecting which of multiple signals are passed to a single outlet, or more!
