Have some home recording gear but aren’t sure what to do with it? Frustrated when you go to record a new idea and your gear just doesn’t work the way you want it to? This is the class for you. Learn how to set up your audio interface with whatever recording software of you choose (Ableton, Logic Pro, Reason, Reaper, Audacity, Garageband, ProTools, etc), connect a microphone or synthesizer and configure the settings so it all runs smoothy. We’ll also cover basic recording techniques like overdubbing, recording multiple takes, comping, basic effects processing, playing to a click track, and more.  We’ll also address topics like latency, saving your projects like a civilized person, and how to export your finished tracks.
